Negative tone "Made by Financials"
Hi,
market returned to more negative tone last week.
It was mostly by bad news from financial sector. There are still too much to write off . And not only in US but also in Europe.
|
 |
Big problems are coming to Europe, European banks will need to write
off a lot of bad loans provided to Central and Eastern Europe region.
My analysts agree that this region will be most hit by current
financial crisis and incoming recession .
Therefore some of my current global macro strategies are based on shorting CEE currencies against EUR and USD.
EUR is another story. Current crisis is first real test of this
project. Project of one currency for several different countries. I
think that a lot of investors is living in dream that EUR is just
simply another Deutsche Mark. But it is not. It is also Italy, Greece,
Portugal, Spain , France and Slovakia, Slovenia and more.
So I think we can see real problems inside EUR zone. And it means
that EUR is not so strong currency as current market thinks. I expect
weakening of EUR against several different currencies. You can
trade it via some Forex broker (Saxo Bank is one I can recommend) or also use Currency ETF.
Happy trading,
Richard
How to create stock screener
I use Amibroker software for stock chart analysis. This software allows to create a lot of different screeners quite simply.
